| ConSense™ The ConSense™ analyzer is a system to measure concentrations and interactions of biomolecules in solution. It works with fluorescence labeling and contains a unique confocal reader unit aiming at highest sensitivity. In this way detection limits in the sub-nanomolar concentration range can easily be reached. Chips The samples are presented in microchips that are filled by capillary forces. The sample volume per spot is approximately 3 µL. The chips are placed in the ConSense sample holder and are automatically processed. Assay formats and handling Various kinds of homogenous assay formats are available: direct binding, competitive assays or ELISA-type assays, all following the mix-and-measure principle.
